The Rules of the Pitch

01 / Format & Teams

  • We play on hard-surfaces only (basketball courts, concrete, beach courts).
  • There are 3 teams per session, with 5 to 6 players per team.
  • If a team is short on players, members of the team coming off (after a loss) can join the team coming on.

02 / The Gameplay

  • Games end after 6 minutes or after one team scores 3 goals.
  • Winner stays on. In case of a tie, the newest team stays on the court.
  • All stoppages are restarted with kick-ins (no throw-ins).

03 / Scoring & Fouls

  • All goals must be scored over the halfway line.
  • Goals CANNOT be scored directly from a sideline kick-in.
  • KILLER GOAL: If the FIRST goal of a game is scored with a one-touch volley (from a pass in the air), that goal ends the game immediately. The ball can bounce on its way in.

04 / Gear & Red Cards

  • Sneakers or futsal flats are required. Strictly no cleats or spikes allowed on the concrete.
  • If you are a late cancel or a no-show, you will not receive a refund for the game.
  • Late cancel means less than 3 hours before a PM game, or after 9 PM for an AM game.
